ANTHONY ALONZO

Alonzo Fine Art

Anthony Alonzo is an award-winning artist whose works have been showcased in numerous local, regional, and national exhibitions. He has earned multiple accolades throughout his career, including several Best of Show honors. Anthony is best known for his rich, vibrant color palette and imaginative interpretations of his subjects. Each painting is carefully designed and completely one-of-a-kind.

ARTISITIC EDUCATION

His piece, Old Rusty Car, awarded him a scholarship to The American Academy of Art, making him the first Hispanic recipient of this distinction. He finished his studies there where he earned his degree in fine arts. He credits the Academy as having the most significant influence on the development of his distinctive artistic style. His work emphasizes quality design, originality, and the luminous intensity of color—hallmarks that continue to define his creative philosophy.

PRESENT DAY

Currently, Anthony Alonzo is active in many art communities and teaches art classes. He is a member at Nature Artists’ Guild, Elmhurst Art Museum, Elmhurst Artists’ Guild, Addison Art Guild, and LaGrange Art League. He also teaches classes at DuPage and soon at LaGrange.
